Just got back from our annual hs Christmas get together (which unceremoniously became an overnight affair this year). It was the first time we saw our friend after she migrated to Canada right before our hs graduation almost 8 years ago. Years, miles, fancy degrees and a baby notwithstanding, it felt exactly like when we used to hang out after class. :)
